my screen door just slams as the mechanism no longer holds back the door. This is a heavy cast brass unit... Russwin brand from the 50's. Id rather repair it than get a new junky model.
You need parts for 1950's Russwin closer? Good Luck! I dont mean to be a killjoy, but parts for Ruswin closers are very rare. Your best bet will be to replace it. Home Centers have closers in stock.
